Student committee to participate in annual BioGirls 5K run for YWCA on May 14

The student-led Health Equity Committee (HEC), comprised of UND medical students and residents, is fundraising for the local YWCA, which aims to empower women, providing safe housing and support for women and children experiencing homelessness.

Join the HEC as it builds a running team for the annual BioGirls 5K, to be held on Wednesday, May 14, in Fargo, N.D. Intended for girls in grades 2-6, the Fargo BioGirls 5K run will be held at 3900 Great Plains Drive in Fargo. The youth run starts at 6 p.m. with an adult 5K following at 6:15 p.m.
