10th Annual Host-Pathogen Interactions Symposium @UND on Sept. 30
UND’s Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CoBRE) for Host-Pathogen Interactions (HPI) is inviting researchers and clinicians interested in infection, immunity, and inflammation to participate in the Tenth Annual UND Host-Pathogen Symposium, to be held in-person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at UND’s Gorecki Alumni Center on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
This event aims to promote interaction and collaboration among area researchers and provide opportunities to learn about cutting-edge tools, approaches, and resources to advance research in infection and inflammation.
Registration is necessary for attendance and will be open in the coming weeks on the HPI website.
Keynote Speakers will be Dr. Daniel Voth, vice chancellor for research and innovation and professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and Dr. Wendy Picking, professor of veterinary pathobiology at the University of Missouri.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
Poster abstracts are welcome and are due Monday, Sept. 15, 2025.
Abstracts can be submitted via the portal on the HPI website or emailed to Jessica Craig at jessica.craig@UND.edu. (Please keep abstracts under 250 words, not including authors and affiliations, and use 12 point Arial font.)
Outstanding poster abstracts will be selected for short oral presentations and “Data Blitz” talks will be held at the beginning of the poster session.
There is no cost to participate in the event and more details are forthcoming.
