Cookies & Cocoa with the SMHS: Supporting nursing homes and assisted living facilities this holiday season

It’s holiday treat time! In keeping with UND President Andy Armacost’s theme of “community” for this academic year, the SMHS Office of the Dean is sponsoring a series of Cookies & Cocoa events across the state in December.

These events will give students, staff, and faculty an opportunity not only to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and a cookie together but to strengthen our sense of community by preparing holiday greeting cards that will be delivered to residents of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Cookies & Cocoa events will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, at the SMHS Northeast Campus in Grand Forks, and in conjunction with the annual holiday gatherings at the other SMHS campuses (Dec. 2 in Minot, Dec. 4 in Bismarck, and Dec. 16 in Fargo).
