Beau Simmons

Beau Simmons is an operations specialist for the SIM-ND Northwest Campus region. His main focus in this role is helping maintain medical simulation equipment and prepping it for events in Minot and around the region. He also helps teach at these events, helping EMS and critical access hospital staff sharpen their skills and hone knowledge of medical emergencies. Prior to working full time for SIM-ND, Beau worked as a pro re nata (PRN) technician and driver for the Garrison-Max Ryder-Makoti ambulance service, along with other rural and city ambulance and fire departments. He grew up in Ryder, N.D., and has an associate degree in fire technology from Northland Community & Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minn. Beau also holds several EMS and firefighting certifications.
