Annual TRANSCEND Symposium to be held @NDSU on May 20
Researchers! Registration for the 2026 Annual TRANSCEND Symposium is now open!
This year’s Translational Science Engaging North Dakota (TRANSCEND) Symposium will be held on Wednesday, May 20, at the North Dakota State University Memorial Union in Fargo, N.D.
This event is free and open to the public.
Registration closes April 30!
Join us with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. followed by opening remarks at 9 a.m. The event will conclude with closing remarks at 4 p.m. following a full day of educational opportunities, poster sessions, award presentations, and networking opportunities.
Poster Guidelines
- Posters will be in a physical format, created using software of your choice.
- Posters should contain the following: title, author(s) and credential(s), purpose, methods, results, and a conclusion.
- Posters should use graphics when necessary to aid in presenting information.
- Suggested poster size is 56”(w) x 41”(h). Poster templates (56” x 41”) can be found online.
- Abstracts are limited to 250 words excluding the title and author information.
- Abstracts must be submitted electronically as an MD Word file using Times New Roman font title font size 14 and body font size 12.
- Abstracts should contain the following: title, author(s) and credential(s), purpose, methods, results, and conclusion.
Poster abstracts, submitted via email to Mark Williamson (mark.williamson.2@UND.edu) are due no later than 5 p.m. (Central) on May 6, 2026. If necessary, you will be able to update your poster abstract until 5 p.m. Central Time on May 13, 2026. Presenters are responsible for printing and bringing their posters to the session.
