Phase-One med students recognize three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards for Unit II

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the medical student Class of 2029 has recognized three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards in Unit IV for the 2025-26 academic year.

The Class of 2029 (Phase 1) Unit IV awardees are the following individuals:

  • Patrick Carr, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Medical Curriculum; Department of Biomedical Sciences
  • Mandy Meyer, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Occupational Therapy
  • Chernet Tessema, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences
