About the Topic:  UND’s Earth System Science and Policy Dept has been developing a payload for use on the International Space Station (ISS) for several years.  An upgraded sensor for the International Space Station Agricultural Camera (ISSAC) was recently launched via the HTV-2 from Japan and is now onboard the ISS; Earth imaging operations are expected to begin late this semester. Current project status and future plans will be presented.
