Reddy continues DAWN research
Dr. Vishnu Reddy spent several days at UND following an extended stay at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS) in Katlenburg, Germany. At MPS, Vishnu is working with the imaging team on the DAWN spacecraft mission to the asteroid (4) Vesta as part of the DAWN research program of Dr. Mike Gaffey. Initial results of the DAWN mission were presented during the Geological Society of America annual meeting in Minneapolis the previous week. During his visit to UND, Vishnu presented an update on DAWN’s progress, before returning to Germany to continue his work with the imaging team.
