Seelan and Bieri Busy with Space Grant Meetings

Santhosh Seelan and Suezette Rene Bieri attended the Western Regional Space Grant Meeting in Fairbanks, Alaska in August. In addition to attending all the sessions they saw Mount McKinley and drove north of the Arctic Circle.

Suezette Rene Bieri and Santhosh Seelan attended the National Meeting of Space Grant Directors in Green Bay, Wisconsin held September 20-23. While there they were updated on NASA’s budget situation and its new mission statement. John Boucha, a recent graduate of the Space Studies Department, gave a presentation at that meeting. His topic was “Enhancing Space Education: An iPad App” which was the title of his masters thesis.
