Space Studies Students attend Space Vision 2011 in Boulder, Colorado

Fifteen students from UND Space Studies attended the Space Vision 2011 Conference in Boulder, Colorado on October 27-30. The conference was sponsored by Students for the Exploration and Development of Space SEDS). The students were: Brad Schanche; Tim Holland; Josh Berk; Greg Simpson; Jeremy Holter; Darren Grau; Jonathan Schiralli; Caitlin Nolby; Katrina Jackson; Marissa Saad; Andrea Dove; Nicole Thom; Martin Hynes; Jessica Blagan; and Joshua Nelson. Holland, Thom and Nelson each gave poster presentations. Twelve of the students piled into two vans and drove straight through from Grand Forks to Boulder. And at the end of the conference they drove straight through from Boulder to Grand Forks. Long road trips are wonderful opportunities to bond!

At the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) national conference, the students had the chance to network with many industry professionals and learn how companies like Sierra Nevada Corporation are working to revolutionize access to Low Earth Orbit.
