Space Studies announces iPad app

The Department of Space Studies is proud to announce the initial release of a Space Studies application that is available for iPad owners. Produced by John Boucha, a May 2011 Space Studies M.S. graduate, the iPad application educates and informs users about the department and its academic programs as well as basic educational information about space science, engineering, history, policy, and current space events. The application is designed for a wide audience interested in learning about the broad universe of space exploration and all of its components. The application is also one of the newest recruiting tools being applied by the department to increase student interest in our programs and engage the larger segment of the population that is not exposed to very much information about space endeavors.
