Space Studies Fundraising event at Space Aliens Grill & Bar

Anouncing the first-ever fundraising collaboration between the UND Observatory and the Space Aliens Grill & Bar restaurant in Grand Forks….Beginning on January 17, 2012, Space Studies will be collaborating on a monthly fundraising drive where 20% of the day’s participant gross receipts will be donated to the UND Observatory. If you wish to help raise money for the UND Observatory, just bring the attached flyer to the restaurant on January 17, 2012, and present it to your server during your stay. The UND Observatory will receive 20% of the receipts from all those participating.

During each fundraising day, we are also planning on conducting various activities and showing displays of various space-related items.

These efforts will occur monthly and are scheduled to also occur during kid’s night at the restaurant.

Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide in our efforts to raise money for the observatory. Renovations and upgrades since 2005 — thanks in large part to Aerospace assistance — have led to an operational facility that supports diverse types of astronomical education and research efforts.

Much more work and plans for expansion are in development. If you have any questions, please contact
