May 2017 UND/ALPA Aircraft Accident Investigation Course

The UND/Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) May aircraft accident investigation course rapped up this morning. For the past 15 years UND and the UNDAF have contributed, participated and provided facilities as part of our mission to be leaders in delivering quality education and services to the aerospace community. Our May class had 35 participants from various ALPA carriers such as United, Delta, Spirit, Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines. In addition Southwest Airlines and NetJets also sent participants to the course. Two CFR employees from the GFK airport fire department were also enrolled. The next course is schedule October 2 – 5, 2017.

On a side note APLA presented Dr. Warren Jensen and Frank Argenziano and Dana Siewert appreciation plaques for their 15 years of participation, contributions and support to the AIC.   http://aaic.aero.und.edu/
