Dr. Fevig to Present at “Hopped Up On Science” on March 11th
Dr. Ron Fevig will be presenting at the “Hopped Up On Science” monthly STEM series at Half Brothers Brewing Company on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:00 pm. Dr. Fevig will discuss student-centered small satellite development and its utility for providing STEM experiential learning opportunities. In particular, this talk will focus on an early CubeSat program in which he was heavily involved while he was pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Arizona. Numerous students and faculty gained valuable small satellite development experience through this program which delivered two satellites for launch in the summer of 2005.
