Elizabeth Howell, SpSt M.Sc. 2012, was recently published in Space Policy along with UND SpSt professor David Whalen, who has just entered phased retirement. Dr. Paul Hardersen assisted in a two-day workshop held at Concordia College in Irving, CA, on June 9th – 10th titled, “Student Research and Robotic Telescopes.”  Dr. Hardersen is a co-organizer of the event and presented two talks, one will highlighted the UND Space Studies Observatory.

Dr. Vadim Rygalov participated in the International Workshop on Bio-Regenerative Life Support Systems development in Turin, Italy, May 18th – 19th  with a paper and presentation titled, “BIOS-3: Russian Experience in Bio-Regenerative Life Support for Space.”  This presentation was given remotely from the newly complete Space Studies conference room, The Well.
