Professor Grijalva Presents at National Tribal Environmental Conference

Professor Jim Grijalva recently spoke at the National Tribal Lands and Environment Forum in Milwaukee, WI.

The Forum is sponsored annually by the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, which advises the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and assists American Indian Tribes and Alaska Native Villages in developing governmental capacity for managing natural resources and implementing environmental regulatory programs. Professor Grijalva participated in a panel with senior EPA managers discussing how federal implementation of Indian country environmental programs protects indigenous human health and culture while bridging gaps in tribal capacity.
