UND Law Student Earns $25,000 National Scholarship from AccessLex
SaNoah Larocque recognized among top first-year law students for commitment to financial wellness education

Updates from the University of North Dakota School of Law.

A first-year student at the University of North Dakota School of Law is gaining national recognition after being selected as one of only two 1L students in the country to receive a $25,0 00 scholarship through the AccessLex Institute.
SaNoah Larocque earned the award as part of AccessLex’s annual MAX Madness campaign, an initiative designed to promote financial literacy and wellness among law students. The program encourages participants to engage in educational activities focused on managing student debt, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
Larocque was recently surprised with the scholarship announcement during a special presentation hosted by AccessLex and the UND School of Law in the VandeWalle Courtroom. Family and friends were in attendance to celebrate the moment, making the recognition even more meaningful. A congratulatory reception followed the presentation, giving attendees an opportunity to honor Larocque’s achievement.

The AccessLex Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to and affordability of legal education, provides a range of financial education tools, research, and scholarship opportunities to law students nationwide.

Larocque’s selection highlights both individual achievement and the continued success of the University of North Dakota School of Law’s partnership with AccessLex. The collaboration has provided UND law students with valuable resources and programming aimed at building strong financial foundations throughout their legal education.
The MAX Madness campaign remains a cornerstone of these efforts, offering students not only the chance to earn scholarship funding, but also practical knowledge that can shape their financial futures well beyond law school.
