Presentation Explores Strategic Use of Recorded Recollection in Expert Witness Examination

Professor Mavrova Heinrich recently presented at the annual Educating Advocacy Teachers (EATS) Conference held at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Her presentation, The Power of Forgetting: When the Expert Doesn’t Remember, But the Record Does, examined effective strategies for using the recorded recollection exception to hearsay when questioning expert witnesses. The conference brought together more than 120 trial advocacy educators representing 69 law schools from across the country, providing a forum for sharing innovative teaching methods and advocacy techniques.
