2024-2025 Permit Sales

Parking permit sales for the 2024-25 academic year begin today, July 15, through the UND Parking Portal. Permits are valid from Aug. 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025.
Students may charge their parking permits to their student account through Aug. 30, 2024.
UND is growing! With unprecedented enrollment this year, UND Parking Services has made accommodations to support parking demand around the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center.
Select lots have been “re-zoned” to allow different permits. Please review the UND Parking Map to see how these changes may affect your desired parking options on campus.
Resident Hall Convenient Parking and Parking Ramp permits will sell out, so purchase permits as soon as possible.
Changes include:
- Parking Ramp: All levels will be mixed use by ramp permit holders, hourly pay-to-park parking and for event parking. Exception: The first floor (west side entrance off University Avenue) will remain as hourly parking/special reserved permit parking.
- Chester Fritz Auditorium lot: Increased number of spaces for students living in residence halls north of University Avenue and in Johnstone/Smith halls.
- Gustafson, Burtness and Hyslop lots: Converting from “A” to “A/S” commuter lots.
- Strinden Road: Converted from Passport parking to “A/S.”
- Facilities lot: Converted north row from “A/S” to Elm only, and middle row will be dual use “A/S/Elm.”
- Greek zones: Converted from “A/S” to Greek in the small lot west of Oxford Street.
- New 15-passenger shuttle: Permit holders with “A” or “S” permits may take a continuous shuttle from the 10th Avenue strip mall area to behind the Memorial Union. Visit the Campus Shuttle webpage for shuttle route information.
These changes will be covered in a post on the Parking Updates blog and on the UND Parking Services website, including social media such as Facebook and Instagram. Please follow these channels for regular updates on important parking information.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time of campus transformation.
