Summer Parking Lot Painting and Temporary Closures
It’s that time of year when many campus parking lots are getting a fresh coat of paint. Throughout the summer, several parking areas will be temporarily closed for line striping and maintenance.
We will do our best to keep campus informed about which lots will be affected and when. Painting crews plan to complete as much of the work as possible after hours to help minimize disruption, and in some cases only portions of a lot may be closed at a time.
The following areas are expected to be affected this summer:
- Parking Ramp
- Nursing Lot
- Airport Lot
- Starcher Lot
- Facilities Lot
- Central Receiving Lot
- Tech Accelerator Lot
- Safety Lot
- EERC Lot
If you typically park in one of these areas, please plan ahead and use nearby lots where your permit is valid. Please keep in mind that campus is currently in open parking, so permit holders may park in ‘S/E,’ ‘O/S/E,’ and ‘E’ lots where their permit is valid.
We will do our best to provide advance notice before closures begin. If you arrive and find your lot closed and did not see a notice, please contact Parking Services 701-777-3551 and we can help direct you to the nearest parking option.
