Campus Road closed near Strinden Road intersection Nov. 4-6

A section of Campus Road near its intersection with Strinden Road will be closed Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 4-6, to install a new gas line.

Eastbound traffic on Campus Road will be directed to detour north to University Avenue via Strinden Road. Westbound traffic will be directed to detour north at Centennial Drive.

Cities Area Transit bus routes will also follow this detour, therefore bypassing the stop at Hughes Fine Arts Center.

The closure will be on the east side of the intersection, extending to the southwest access point of the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center parking lot.

Though the parking lot will remain open throughout the closure, the southernmost access point on the west side of the lot will be closed for equipment staging purposes.

Note: The Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center parking lot may not be used to bypass the closure.

The images below show the closure area and detour locations.
