MEDIA ADVISORY: UND Professor and fitness expert has new research to share on trends in kids’ muscle fitness
UND’s Grant Tomkinson researches fitness trends among adults and children and would be happy to talk with reporters about the subject
Grant Tomkinson, professor of kinesiology at UND, has co-authored a column about trends in children’s fitness that is available for your use. Tomkinson himself has extensively researched fitness trends among adults as well as children and would be happy to talk with reporters about the subject.
The column is titled Kids’ grip strength is improving, but other measures of muscle fitness are getting worse. It was published recently in The Conversation, a nationally known nonprofit that publishes columns written only by academic experts and researchers. Tomkinson’s column is available here.
As The Conversation’s website explains, columns published by the nonprofit can be republished online or in print for free, so long as the publishers follow The Conversation’s guidelines.
