Golfers around the region will be getting back into the swing of things on Saturday, when UND’s Ray Richards Golf Course opens for the season.

According to General Manager Kyle Myers, April 9 will be the course’s earliest opening date in five years.

Myers said the course’s layout appeals to golfers of all skill levels.

“When golfers play Ray’s, they can expect a well-groomed course that is perfect for golfers who play to win,” Myers said. “It is equally enjoyable for those simply looking to have a great time playing a relaxing game with friends.”

“Rays is challenging enough for really good players, but also forgiving and fun for golfers of any skill level,” he added. “The course is mostly flat, making it manageable for players who like to walk.”

Ray Richards is also offering a 10% discount on all memberships through April 30. Membership rates for the 2024 season are as follows:

  • $315 for UND students
  • $404 for Seniors aged 60 and over
  • $424 for UND employees
  • $699 for an adult with a cart included.

Golfers should call the pro shop at 701.777.4340 for details or to set a tee time.
