Faculty, staff invited to take part in Residence Hall move-in Aug. 20

Faculty and staff are encouraged to take part in Residence Hall Move-In,  Aug. 20.

The Hall Orientation Team (HOT) is a student-run organization in the UND residence halls, and is part of the Department of Residence Services (housing and dining). HOT plans activities for residents, plus assists families and students move their belongings into the residence halls during Welcome Weekend.   We are seeking faculty and staff to get involved during move-in.

Residence Hall move-in is an exciting time on campus and is a great way to visit with incoming students and families in a casual setting. You will meet new people, as well as connect with our returning students who are members of HOT.  Your short, four-hour commitment includes a fun T-shirt and lunch. Two shifts are available during move in day:  9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and noon to 4 p.m.  Let’s work together to give our incoming students and families a warm welcome to our incredible campus. This is an opportunity that only comes once a year!

Sign up is easy. Go to our online form at http://www.housing.und.edu/reshalls/hot/. We will email you more details throughout the summer. If you have questions, please contact Rob Trembinski, Assistant Director of Housing at roberttrembinski@mail.und.edu or at 701-777-8515.
