Soaring Eagle Prairie Garden weeding continues through summer

The weeding season for the Soaring Eagle Prairie Garden is under way from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through the end of summer. The garden is located just South of the Chester Fritz Library.

You don’t need to be a gardener to lend a hand. There is always good company, and the pulling makes for a nice end of day workout for body (bending and pulling) and the mind (visualize all the workday frustrations being pulled away). There are extra gloves to use if you need them, and reservations are not needed. Just stop by on the weeks that work with your schedule.

Special thanks to the volunteers that have helped so far. We have left some pretty good-sized piles of weeds in our wake.
