Massmann joins Center for Rural Health

Nicole Massmann has joined the Center for Rural Health (CRH) at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Massmann is a quality network stroke project coordinator at the CRH.   A content specialist, she supports hospitals implementing stroke care processes and practices. She is responsible for providing coordination and leadership of a statewide stroke initiative and will work closely with critical access hospitals in eastern North Dakota.

Before joining the CRH, Massmann worked as a quality assurance associate at PRACS Institute, Ltd., in East Grand Forks, Minn.

A Crookston, Minn. native, Massmann graduated from the University of Minnesota, Crookston with a bachelor’s degree in scientific and technical communication. She lives in East Grand Forks with her husband and three children.

Established in 1980, the Center for Rural Health is one of the nation’s most experienced rural health organizations. It has developed a full complement of programs to assist researchers, educators, policymakers, health care providers and, most importantly, rural residents to address changing rural environments by identifying and researching rural health issues, analyzing health policy, strengthening local capabilities, developing community-based alternatives, and advocating for rural concerns.
