You’re invited to join a faculty writing group

The Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Program will sponsor a faculty writing group this fall. The group of 6-10 faculty from across the disciplines will meet for an hour once a week to respond to each other’s academic and professional writing.

Each week one member distributes copies of a piece of work in progress and asks for feedback on certain aspects of the work. With early drafts, the conversation may be about content and organization; with later drafts we may give more attention to style. The object is to create a supportive, collegial environment and provide incentives to get the work done!
