Three Vice President for Student Affairs Candidates to visit campus in September and October

Three candidates for the Vice President for Student Affairs will visit campus for interviews in September and early October. After the interviews are complete, the search committee will recommend finalists to President Robert Kelley.

The search is chaired by Alice Brekke, Vice President for Finance and Operations.

The candidates are as follows:

  • Dr. Kimberly A. Barrett, Vice President for Student Affairs, University of Montevallo, Montevallo, AL.
  • Dr. Steven Kent Erwin, Associate Vice president for Campus Life and Auxiliary Services, Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS.
  • Dr. Lori Reesor, instructor and Associate Vice Provost for Student Success, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.

Each of the candidates will participate in an open forum for the campus community and public to meet and greet the candidate.

The schedule follows:

Monday, Sept. 27 – Dr. Kimberly Barrett

  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Open Forum; River Valley Room
  • 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Campus Reception; Fireside Lounge

Thursday, Oct. 14 – Dr. Steven Erwin (Tentative Date)

  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Open Forum; Location TBD
  • 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Campus Reception; Location TBD

Monday, Oct. 18 – Dr. Lori Reesor (Tentative Date)

  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Open Forum; River Valley Room
  • 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Campus Reception; Fireside Lounge
