UND switches to single-stream recycling

The University community no longer has to be concerned about sorting bottles, cans, paper, and plastics. Now it can all go together.   We have switched over to single-stream recycling.  Single stream recycling, also referred to as mixed or co-mingled recycling, will make it easier and convenient to recycle.

In 2009, thanks to your help, UND saved over $20,000 in landfill fees. The small changes that everyone can make each day can make a big difference in the amount of waste we contribute to the landfill. “Think before you throw.”
