Denim Day is Nov. 17

Denim Day is Wednesday, Nov. 17. Pay a dollar to your site coordinator and enjoy going casual for local charities. If your office allows you to wear denim all the time, consider still giving a dollar on Denim Days. Donations go to very good causes. Checks, if any, must be made out to “Denim Day.”

All proceeds collected during 2010 will go to the following: Cheerful Givers (provides birthday bags to kids through local food pantries); Circle of Friends Humane Society (shelter for homeless animals); Community Violence Intervention Center (assists victims of violence); Global Friends Coalition (assists local refugees); Infant Bereavement Program (assists families who have lost a child); Northlands Rescue Mission, Inc. (shelter for the homeless); and St. Vincent de Paul (food pantry).
