Night Life @ UND lists events for Nov. 19-20

Night Life @ UND provides free late-night entertainment for UND students every Friday and Saturday night (not including holidays). Free Movies are also sometimes available on Thursday evenings. The following events will be held at Night Life @ UND Nov. 19-20. Please inform students about the following:

Wellness Center – Friday, Nov. 19 (all events are from 9 to 11 p.m. unless otherwise noted)

  • volleyball tournament – 9 p.m., main gym, hosted by students from the Recreation and Tourism Department
  • open rockwall
  • moonlight workouts

Memorial Union – Friday, Nov. 20 (all events are from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. unless otherwise noted)

  • Tracey Ashley, comedian – 9 p.m., Loading Dock, hosted by UPC
  • The Amazing Race – 9 p.m. to midnight, hosted by Gamma Theta Upsilon, Geography Club
  • Paint your own holiday ornaments
  • International Dance Party – 10 p.m., Loading Dock, hosted by International Student Organization
  • PS3 Move – Try out the new PS3 move games.
  • Free Thanksgiving food
  • UPC Movie – “Inception” – showing at 8 and 10:30 p.m.
  • Open Lifetime Sports – 9 p.m. to midnight

Memorial Union – Saturday, Nov. 20 (all events are from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. unless otherwise noted)

  • Jam Session – Live local bands. Bring your instrument and jam with us. – 9:30 p.m., Loading Dock
  • Where’s Waldo? – 9 p.m., Start at Welcome Desk – hosted by Bek Hall
  • Create Your Own Aquarium – fish included – 10 p.m., Marketplace, supplies limited
  • UPC Movie – “Inception” – showing at 8 and 10:30 p.m.
  • Billiards Tournament at Lifetime Sports – register at 9 p.m., games begin at 9:30 p.m., Prizes for winners
  • Scrapbooking – 9 p.m. – First 25 people get a free scrapbook
  • Free Food – fishsticks and tatertots
  • Open games – board games, life-sized games, and more.

There will not be Night Life next week, Nov. 26-27, due to the Thanksgiving recess. The final Night Life events for the fall 2010 semester will be Dec. 3-4. Night Life will then resume after the semester break in January.
