Stone Soup funding available for community-based projects

Faculty who are planning community-based research or student projects that need modest financial support may be eligible for funding from the Stone Soup Fund of the Center for Community Engagement.

The Stone Soup Fund, initiated in 2009 by the Center’s Community Advisory Board, is supported by the Office of the Provost and various community sponsors. Up to $1,000 may be available for an eligible project. A short application form is available on the Center’s website at www.communityengagement.und.edu.  There is a rolling application deadline for requests until available funds have been committed.

The Center is able to assist faculty in identifying potential projects and answer questions about eligibility. Contact Lana Rakow, Center Director, at 777-2287 or lana.rakow@email.und.edu.
