Family music classes offered by UND Community Music Program

The UND Community Music Program is offering family music classes titled “Music & Me” on campus during the spring semester.

The classes will be taught by Jessica Knight, and are available for children ages birth-five years old and their caregivers.  The classes will last 30 minutes, and the entire family will learn lap songs, fingerplays, dance and movement, and to play instruments.

The classes will be eight Mondays, starting Jan. 23, omitting Feb. 20 (President’s Day) and March 12 (Spring Break). Two sessions will be offered,  5:45-6:15 p.m. or 6:30-7 p.m, both at 258 Hughes Fine Arts Center.

Registration is $70 per child;  forms are on the Community Music Program page at www.undmusic.org, contact undcomm@gmail.com with questions.

You can attend an informational sample class at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in the Anna Mae Reception Room in Hughes Fine Arts Center to learn about Music & Me, enjoy a 30 minute demonstration class, and receive registration discounts.
