Undergraduate research opportunities meeting scheduled

As part of the effort to further undergraduate research opportunities at UND, a meeting has been scheduled for interested faculty from all colleges and departments who have worked or wish to work with undergraduates in research. Faculty who have been identified by their chairs or deans in response to my earlier e-mail are particularly encouraged to participate in this meeting.

The meeting is intended to be a discussion among interested faculty as how to best proceed. An immediate goal is to design a web site that will facilitate students seeking research opportunities. This meeting is set for Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in 138 Abbott Hall.
