SSAC travel applications deadline is April 27

Friday, April 27, is the final deadline for submission of Senate Scholarly Activities Committee travel grant applications for Fiscal Year 2011-2012. This deadline is for travel occurring between May 1 and Sept. 15. Late applications will not be accepted.

The committee reminds applicants to carefully prepare their proposals and be specific and realistic in their budget requests. Although the SSAC encourages submission of travel requests, the Committee takes into consideration the most recent SSAC award granted to each applicant. Priority will be given to beginning faculty and first-time applicants.

Application forms are available on Research Development and Compliance’s home page (on UND’s home page under “Research”). A properly signed original (copies no longer needed) of the application must be submitted to RD&C on or prior to the published deadline. Applications that are not prepared in accordance with the directions on the forms will not be considered by the Committee.
