Sept. 7: Special Denim Spirit Day for Mortar Board turkey basket drive
There will be a Special Denim Spirit Day on Friday, Sept. 7, to support the Quo Vadis Chapter of Mortar Board at UND with its 39th annual turkey basket drive. They plan to provide over 1,300 turkey baskets to families in the Greater Grand Forks area in November.
Be comfortable and wear denim and/or UND colors or clothing that day to show your spirit. Give what you can to your Denim Day site coordinator or send your donation directly to Devona Janousek, Twamley Hall Room 204, Stop 8253. Your contributions help this organization that has a great effect in the community. Even if you wear denim every day, donate a dollar for these charities. You are helping families in the community or maybe a fellow employee.
Checks should be made out to “Denim Day.” Please mark “Special Denim Day” on the envelope and the date of Sept 7th and send to Twamley, no later than Sept 14.
