Joyce Riske retiring after 34 years of service at EERC

Joyce Riske, assistant director for Communication and Information Services, is retiring after more than 34 years of service at the Energy & Environmental Research Center. Joyce’s last day will be Thursday, Feb. 29, 2023.

Joyce first worked on campus from 1986 to 1990 as a graduate assistant and lecturer in the English department. She applied for a technical editor position at the EERC in 1990 after hearing it was looking for someone with the unique combination of both science and English degrees. In her 34 years here, Joyce has been instrumental in setting and maintaining high standards of precision and excellence in our technical documentation.
