‘The Symphony’s Own’ GGFSO concert is Feb. 25

The Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra dedicates its February concert to the excellence found in Grand Forks!

The concert, “The Symphony’s Own,” will begin with J.S. Bach’s “Suite No. 2 in B minor,” featuring Lisa Bost-Sandberg on flute. It will continue with Cory Driscoll on trumpet playing Haydn’s “Trumpet Concerto in E flat major.”

Following the intermission will be Mozart, featuring his overture to “The Marriage of Figaro” and “Sinfonia Concetante in Eb Major for Oboe, Clarinet, Horn, Bassoon, and Orchestra.” Phil McKenzie, Sarah Harlow, Tyler York, and Michael Wittgraf will be featured as a part of the second half of this traditional concert.
