Commencement speaker nomination form now live

Have an idea for a UND Commencement speaker? A form for nominating future speakers is now live on the UND website.

The University community is welcome to submit speaker nominations for winter, summer and spring ceremonies. Given scheduling requirements, speakers are frequently invited many months in advance.

It is tradition that UND commencement speakers attend the ceremony and address the graduates in person. Nominations should highlight the nominees’ achievements and contributions. Please do not contact the nominee as the nomination process is confidential and nominees should not know that they are being considered.

The nomination deadline for August 2024 is March 15.
