March 12 Cosmic Pi Podcast: Special guest Cameron Reed, ‘Oppenheimer’ and Manhattan Project

Cameron Reed, professor emeritus of physics at Alma College, Mich., and author of four books on the Manhattan Project, will be a special guest on the Cosmic Pi Podcast at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12.

Reed will talk about the 2023 award-winning film “Oppenheimer” and the Manhattan Project, which was led by J. Robert Oppenheimer and developed the atomic bomb during World War II.

As an expert, Reed will provide in-depth knowledge about the construction of the first atomic bomb and describe how closely the movie reflected the events surrounding the Manhattan Project.
