UND School of Law Commencement Ceremony is May 4

The University of North Dakota will confer the degrees of Juris Doctor (J.D.) during a commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Chester Fritz Auditorium in Grand Forks.

The ceremony will be officiated by UND President Andrew Armacost and UND School of Law Dean Brian Pappas. At the request of the Class of 2024, Paul Traynor, assistant professor of law, will deliver the commencement address. Professors Julia Ernst and Michael McGinniss will hood the candidates, and Assistant Dean for Student Services Brad Parrish will act as proctor.

Sixty-five candidates completed the requirements for the degree of Juris Doctor. An additional 15 members of the Class of 2024 completed degree requirements in December 2023. Seventy-four candidates will participate in the ceremony.

The ceremony is free and open to the public and will be livestreamed.
