Summer parking and other reminders from UND Parking Services

Permits are required during summer

• All vehicles parked in permitted spaces on campus must have a valid permit and be registered with UND Parking Services.
• From May 13 through Aug. 23, “A,” “S,” and “H” permits are valid in any “A,” “S,” and “H” designated spaces and on levels 2-5 of the parking ramp. Apartment/HOAPT permits are only valid in their appropriate lots.
• Summer permits can be purchased through the UND Parking Portal for $75.

Reminders

• Spring semester permits expire May 31.
• Current annual permits expire July 31. Next year’s annual permits are effective Aug. 1. Pre-sale information for next year’s annual permit will be sent out in July.
• Permits are required for motorcycles. Please refrain from parking motorcycles in areas with “No Parking” zone signs.
• The parking ramp will be closed for annual cleaning May 13-22.
• Watch for campus construction updates; there will be parking closures and changes throughout the summer.
• Passport Parking is available for designated spaces throughout campus for guests and campus members without a parking permit.
• Departments are required to make parking arrangements for their guests, accessible on the UND Parking Services website.
• UND provides “Open Parking Hours” year-round. During these hours, a permit is not required. However, parking in restricted zones will continue to be monitored and enforced (housing zones, reserved, time limit zones, no overnight, event parking, etc.)
  • Monday – Friday: 4 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Saturday – Sunday: All day
