Help UND make digital content work for everyone

Hello UND Staff,

We’re working to improve digital accessibility at UND, and we’d love your help!

Please take our Digital Accessibility Training Needs Assessment

Your feedback will help us understand:

  • What tools and platforms staff currently use
  • Where additional support or training would be helpful
  • What topics would be most valuable moving forward

No prior knowledge of accessibility is needed. The survey is designed for all staff, regardless of their role or experience. It should take about 5–10 minutes to complete.

Before taking the survey, we encourage you to watch the 3-minute What is Digital Accessibility? video by Deque Systems. The video is brief, plain-language, and explains what digital accessibility is and why it matters.

Digital accessibility means making sure the content we create, whether emails, documents, forms, websites, presentations, and more, can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities.

Many of us already do parts of this without realizing it, and many have never received formal training, and that’s completely okay.

Under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), all public entities, including UND, have an obligation to ensure programs, events, and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. This includes all the information and content we share digitally.

If you need this survey in an alternative format or experience any difficulty accessing it, please reach out and we’ll be happy to assist.

Thank you for helping make UND’s digital spaces more inclusive for everyone!
