School of Law commencement ceremony is Saturday, May 9

The University of North Dakota’s spring commencement ceremonies continue this week with the School of Law ceremony at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, at the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center.

Lisa Fair McEvers, chief justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court, has been invited to speak for this spring’s 61 graduates.

UND’s graduate and undergraduate degree ceremonies will once again be held at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks on Saturday, May 16.

The doctoral and master’s degrees ceremony starts at 9 a.m., and the undergraduate degrees ceremony starts at 2 p.m.

President Andrew Armacost is set to preside over the May 16 ceremonies, with more than 540 graduate students and 1,200 undergraduate students eligible to graduate.

On behalf of the State Board of Higher Education, representatives Tim Mihalick and Maxwell Eriksrud will be present for the graduate and undergraduate ceremonies, respectively.
