Nominations open for NDUS Leadership Excellence Award
Nominations are open until Sept. 4 for the North Dakota University System’s Leadership Excellence Award.
The award recognizes and celebrates executive and senior leaders across the university system who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, innovation and dedication to advancing organizational success, strengthening culture and creating lasting impact.
Up to three recipients will be selected and recognized with a commemorative plaque, recognition in NDUS communications and recognition at the Sept. 24 State Board of Higher Education meeting at Minot State University.
Those eligible include:
- Regular, benefited employees in the 0000 (Executive) or 1000 (Administrative and Managerial) classifications with at least two consecutive years of NDUS employment.
- No active disciplinary actions.
- No self-nominations
- Campus CEOs (Presidents) and review committee members are not eligible.
Nominees should demonstrate excellence in at least two of five criteria:
- Strategic leadership and vision
- Organizational innovation and transformation
- Collaboration and relationship building
- Talent development and employee engagement
- Impact and stewardship

Complete the nomination form online. You must be logged in to your NDUS account to access and complete the nomination form.
Optionally, supporting letters (maximum of five pages) can be attached to the form.
