Jill (Owen), ’82, and David Engelstad, ’90, reflect on bringing physical therapy and engineering expertise to American Samoa

Jill (Owen), ’82, and David Engelstad, ’90, the subjects of this episode of Beyond the Pages, lived recently in American Samoa, a U.S. territory in the South Pacific. There they made headway in their respective fields of physical therapy and engineering.

Their story was first featured in the Winter 2020 issue of the UND Alumni Magazine. Working and living in difficult conditions both challenged and inspired the Engelstads. Now back in North Dakota, the couple reflects on their adventure in this episode of Beyond the Pages.
