VIDEO: Events, ceremonies sprout as spring (at last) returns

President Armacost discusses on-campus events as semester winds down

President Armacost thanks those who took part in the faculty staff town hall meeting on Wednesday, April 27. He notes a turning point, with fewer questions about COVID-19 and more about life on campus.

He discusses activities on campus, including recognition ceremonies for graduates, and says he’s honored to have been invited to take part.

His wife, Kathy, was part of the Nistler College’s Be Bold Women in Leadership Summit on April 26, which was a chance to hear women leaders talk about their experiences, and to open up more opportunities for women on campus.

Upcoming events include the student and parent Town Hall on Monday, May 2. Also on Monday at 3:30 p.m., a Remembrance Ceremony will honor the students, faculty, staff, and retirees who passed away in the last year.

On Tuesday, May 3, the University Council will meet for the annual State of the University update. Deans, Provost Link, and President Armacost will give updates on what’s happening on campus.
