February is American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the United States. Heart disease affects millions of Americans each year. American Heart Month was established in 1963 to encourage national action on heart health, and it continues today as a reminder of both the progress made and the work still needed. By prioritizing heart health this month, you support your physical well-being and long-term quality of life as well. Learn more about how you can take care of your heart this February and beyond!
