Why Register?

This challenge is a great reminder for us all to get up and MOVE. Whether it's going for a walk, hitting the gym, or just doing some light stretching, let's make a commitment to our health and wellness. Even small changes like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or going for a quick jog in the morning can make a big difference. Let's prioritize movement and see the positive impact it has on our physical and mental well-being. So, let's lace up our sneakers and Get Moving!

Registration for the Get Moving Challenge is OPEN! This is a 4-week challenge created to increase your daily activity and social connectedness.

The Get Moving Challenge is open to UND Staff, Faculty, and Friends & Family.

You can register as an individual or as a team (up to 6 participants). Each week, you will keep track of your steps or convert them from other forms of activity (step conversion chart).

Don't forget: Each week there will be progress updates along with chances to win prizes with TWO $100 Grand Prizes given at the end! Participants that complete the challenge will receive NEW Get Moving socks!

What's the Get Moving Challenge?

Let's GET MOVING! The Get Moving Challenge is designed to encourage the UND Community (Faculty/Staff/Friends/Family) to walk at least 10,000 steps each day and educate on the importance of physical activity and social connectedness. The Get Moving Challenge will have you moving more by the end of the challenge! The Get Moving Challenge runs from August 20 - September 16.
