When was the last time you washed your water bottle?

Our reusable water bottles aren't so good at staying clean (even if all that's in them is water). It is recommended that you clean your water bottle daily. Here's how:
  • Cleaning steps:
    1. Empty and disassemble your water bottle. Remove any detachable components from your bottle (lid, straw, handle, etc.)
    2. Rinse out your bottle then fill with warm soapy water. Let this sit for a few minutes.
    3. Scrub! Make sure to distribute the cleaning solution throughout the bottles nooks and crannies. Try using a bottle brush like this one: Bottle Brush.
    4. Clean out the straw using the same techniques and a straw cleaning brush: Straw cleaning brushes.
    5. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
    6. Air dry. Bottles can be stored upright or on the side. The key is to allow air to pass through to the main chamber, as this will keep your bottles odor-free.
